using relays as SCRs (using diodes for D3 and D4) Legend: - orange wave: battery charging voltage - blue wave: charger input voltage - green wave: charger output voltage - red: charger input current case 1: At flat voltage - Adjust battery voltage to 81.6V) - Adjust relays operate voltage to 112.3 V (Firing angle at 69.38deg: Vop=120*sin(69.38deg)) Case 2: At nominal battery voltage - Adjust battery voltage to 96V) - Adjust relays operate voltage to 104.52 V (Firing angle at 60.58deg: Vop=120*sin(60.58deg)) Case 3: At fully charged voltage - Adjust battery voltage to 115.2V) - Adjust relays operate voltage to 88.34 V (Firing angle at 47.41deg: Vop=120*sin(47.41deg) Case 4: transition from full voltage to trickle charge - Adjust battery voltage to 115.2V) - Adjust relays operate voltage to 119.23 V (Firing angle at 83.53deg: Vop=120*sin(83.53deg) - charging current can be observed to go decrease to almost 0 A. Note: Do adjustment while pausing the simulation to see the transition of current and voltage waveforms.
