Boost converter

Vo = Vi / (1-D)
where D is duty cycle.
Notice the input current is continuous in CCM mode, but the output current is pulsating, in contrast to the buck converter.
Hence in the boost converter the output capacitor should be big enough to filter this pulsating current and deliver constant current to the load.
