* Capacitor and coils are resistors in AC.
*Capacitor +_ indicate charging/discharging Time.
* Capacitor charge time: as R&amp;C value increase the charge and discharge values increase simultaneously, thus the +/- mark slows down.  
* Current direction is conventional. it goes in the capacitor while charging and leaves it while discharging. 
* Notice the load #R1 is AC  
* The coil makes the load sinusoidal 
* The square source can be replaced by a battery and a MOSFET
