Sorry, twenglish but that driver could never work on a igbt because of the gate voltage that must be at least 8 volts over the source so, when you drive that igbt, the source (emitter) you should have the 240 V plus 8 on the gate. You could try to connect the minus of the driver source (battery) to the igbt's output ( emitter ).

You can't put 248v across the gate most igbts I've worked with have a max gate to emitter voltage of 20v, and that's on an igbt rated at 80 amps at 600volts max
