non-powersource torch - put the battery on the capacitor for about 30 seconds and take the battery off and the LED will still be on.

Leo, please don't post your circuits until they are actually working. So far 4 fails out of 4 is not a good result.

Need a ground connection and finish connecting up.

Resistor and/or voltage will need adjusting if you want LED to light.
