On left is 13.8 volt 15 amp power supply being used to charge the 9.5 volt lead acid battery below.
Since this a MANUAL approach the charged battery has to be watched for over heating and to hold charging amperage around 5 amps or lower as voltage comes up on discharged battery.
Probably not the method of choice but a possible method to use on battery backup charging.
If someone has used this method before I welcome suggestions.
