With a ferrite core yes. Without it maybe yes but it wont be very powerfull. Try and tell us if it works.

How do you plan to get over 7H from a 10 turn primary? A realistic value would be more like 100 uH. Also, there is no way a 555 could source and sink enough current to drive the gate that fast.
