i have a diy pickup for my guitar, and due to the low Z' of it (560 R) , i need a preamp for it, so i 'managed them two stages together.. ( based on: https://www.eleccircuit.com/simple-preamplifier-circuits-by-transistors/ and http://sound-au.com/project13.htm

and - how to get the pow'supply way down - i am thinking on a 3.6V Li Accu from a mobile phone - flat, lightweight, somewhere in the guitar corpus.... (might be good to recharge by usb ?) aii - a guitar with usb port... do any of you have the nerve to fiddle around thedesign, to get the supply voltage down' ?? (as well 2 of them Li Akkus ' in series, to have 7.2 volts..??.)

to simulate my pickup, i have them 2 ac fountain' - mixeed with the pot, the wiper attached to the primary winding of the trafo', to ground - / the ringing strings on the giutar' ) the secondary - 'the PickUp, low Z,' to the input' of the common-base wired npn transistor: the Emiter is the INPUT; and the Collector is the OUTPUT of that device ! base is connected via the cap to ground - and the resistor / diode combination delivers a bit of ' bias' .. the following stage is a very low distortion/ low noise preamp follower' its ampificatio rate can be adjusted by the 'hiighted 'Pot, the one, that does the feedback from the output to the input' .. ( Pot #2 ) pot#1 is hooked up to the out of the low Z amp..

that whole thing just consumes about 2.1 - 2.2 mA !! :)
