Reduces voltage from 100 to 250 volts (transformer) convert from A.C. to D.C.(4 diodes) smooths(first capacitor), regulator to 9 volts(zener diodes path from the resistor and amplify with the transistors), smooth(second capacitor), last to the load(60ohm resistor)
