Based on Ken Stone. A sine wave is split on its way into a differential inverting amplifier, with the input going into the non-inverting side first going into a dual diode clamp that flattens the top and bottom of the wave. The result is a wave inverts the difference between the two waves, resulting in a folded, smaller wave. This is then sent into the same op-amp setup, but with diode clamps on both sides, flattening the folded wave on both sides. The result is a doubly folded tiny wave.
