Simple FM Radio Transmitter V.3

This transmitter uses ten on-board components and will transmit a monaural audio signal about 30 feet/9.144 Meter. It is possible to extend that range by adding an antenna. The AC source is the audio input and the long wire with a switch is the antenna. Peel 18 gauge solid copper wire for the coil and turn it around a 1/4-20 bolt with 4 turn. Use transistor 2N3904 or BC547B both will works in used BC547B. NOTE: Depending on where you live, operating an FM transmitter — even a very short-range one like this — may be illegal without a license. Unless you attach an antenna, it’s very unlikely that anyone will notice or complain about any transmissions you may make with this device. On the other hand, it’s very difficult to predict, before construction is complete, just where on the FM band this transmitter will broadcast. Use due caution during testing, and make sure you understand the law in your area before attaching the battery. [Project By makezine.com]

I haven't made a fm transmitter before only receiver. It hard to get a certain station. I'm thinking about making one. Is it hard? Can I do it to all stations at the same time? That would be fun to make.

@THEbloxermanRBX-I meant every station will pick it up, instead of tunning to a certain station.

The oscillation frequency in your circuit is 1.18Ghz! You totally missed the coil because the frequency should be around 100Mhz

Change the coil to 50nh to obtain a great result

Anyways i did this some years ago and it worked really great😉

The receiver is a normal fm radio

Hum i think instead of the 50nh inductor so the freq will be 92Mhz because at 50nh the freq is still too high

Hum with the 50nh inductor the freq is too low try a 200nh one
