Circuit Purpose: Exponentially increase voltage across far right cap, while minimizing current across the cap as well as current draw from source.
Practical use: This is a crude replica of Stan Meyer's Voltage Intensifier Circuit based on his patent schematic. For use in his water fuel cell concept. Note that it is meant to be a gated pulse train input. The purpose of the switch is to simulate gate.
Circuit will take a 9v pulsed DC source (per specifications - click pulse source and choose wrench) and bump it up to over 400v in a fraction of a second, although it will take several seconds simulation time since the simulation is in microseconds. If switch is not activated, Amp draw from source is kept under 100mA.
The switch simulating the gate to the left of the Ampere-meter can be briefly opened then closed at any point to bring voltage to over 20Kv, keeping the average draw from source under 100mA to maintain this voltage.
Lower or higher voltages can be obtained by changing the delay on the pulsed square wave, currently set at 1%, in tandem with the switch. Decreasing or increasing delay will affect current draw accordingly. Note that a value of 0% will not affect a (closed switch) voltage gain, and will draw very little current. Opening the switch with 0% delay will still cause voltage spike, although a decreased one.
