just replace 100 k ohm resistor with photo resister range(20-200)k ohm .

The potentiometer used to control the sensitivity of the circuit to light..

Two LEDs .one turn on in night and other for turning on in light.

Increase your output resistor, the led can only needs 20ma in EC. The x means the nominal current was doubled. Check the Examples tab for more on current limiting. Good luck with school
