it is made of a comparator, a DAC an a Counter (Successive Approximation registered) It's input Analog voltage is converted to digital form Use the first logic source to unable Start of Conversion Use the second logic source to reset the circuit 900 Ohm gives best results

Nice work.... but the output does not change together with the input.... meaning when the input is changed to a voltage lower than what is been displayed , there is basically no conversion

Lovely circuit you have here. I was having a little trouble understanding it, (as i always do when color coded nodes are involved) so I spent a bit of time straightening up and voila: http://everycircuit.com/circuit/4563342507376640 . Still a little crazy due to pretty high component count but obviously that can't be helped. I recommend anyone having difficulties like mine to take a look. Once again though, this is a terrific little circuit. Cheers.

PS: trapheal, you have to hit the reset. In my version it's the momentary in the bottom left corner. In the original it's the logic source in the same spot.
