There it is! That's about as smooth of a 5v DC signal as anyone could ask for. Stepped down from the standard 120v AC from a household wall outlet, rectified and smooth like butter. Perfect for a cell phone charger. The two capacitors absorb almost all current fluctuations, keeping the variance down to .02v. I know this is easy for most experienced guys but an accomplishment for me lol. If anyone has any tips for me, please comment. Thanks.

Hola buenos días, oye y de casualidad no tendrás algún guía didáctico para aprender a hacer o resolver problemas de voltaje, resistencia y amperajes y más

The standard 120v AC wall outlet is 120rms not 120peak. So take 120*1.414 to find the peak value of 170. 170 is the value you need to select on the source. If this were 240 volts, you would take 240(rms)*1.414 to give you 339(peak). EC requires the peak to properly simulate real world conditions. So in real life if you plug this in you get 5volts*1.414 = 7volts dc, which will not be good.

7V output is enough to run a 78L05 though lol

That is valuable info lol. I did not know that however it makes perfect sense. Thanks for the tip.

So rich, if wanted to build one of these, what would I need to modify to get the voltage of 5 volts?
