This circuit transmits power over a single wire by changing the phase after the source and again before the load. This circuit was proposed by Michael Bank in his book "It Is Quite Another Electricity" (See fig 2.6 in the book).

not willing to say, that it might never work, but here you have a circuit through your gnds

Thanks @do7prm for your comment! At first glance it appears similar to Single-Wire Earth Return (SWER) systems, but in ch6 of the book the author describes how in his experimental setup he replaced the grounded inverter coil with an ungrounded half-period delay line. The circuit still worked while not being grounded, proving that the ground was not part of the circuit. He later proves it with yet another experiment.

Transformers connected like that basically are magnetically decoupled like a bifillar wound bresistors, therefore are virtually non existent, what the final result is a SWER system, in this case the earth is plain to see, in other cases you need a tuned system that stores the energy to bounce back on the opposite phase of the cycle.

Hi BillyT, thanks for your input! The idea of the inverter coils is to change the phase by 180°, making it equal to the phase in the other wire, therefore the two currents can be combined. This is why the current in the single wire part is 2x the source current. As mentioned in my previous comment, ground is NOT used as the return wire, this circuit is NOT like SWER. This circuit has been both simulated and built without a ground connection, using a potential nullifier instead (see ch3 in the book https://books.google.com/books?id=D9qSDgAAQBAJ&pg=PA16&lpg=PA16&dq=michael+bank+nullifier&source=bl&ots=2cVBwCNj77&sig=ACfU3U0CqUNSjc8E4kv23ki2yyzU67imtg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjh3PSQpbPiAhUY5o8KHaofBvIQ6AEwBHoECAYQAQ#v=onepage&q=michael%20bank%20nullifier&f=false)

This is how mains electricity works. Principally against GND

Nicola Tesla proposed to use air as the conductor against GND. They smashed his labs!!!!!

It won't work without GND

Hi Zorgrian, thanks for your comments, but I feel you need to read the evidence in the book before you can say it won't work. Also, Nikola Tesla's main idea was to transmit power through the earth, using the globe as the only "conductor", see: https://waveguide.blog/nikola-tesla-transmission-systems/
