no good design. use of resistance increase esr of such circut by ammount completly declining usage of such curiosum in anything involved to variable capacitance usage.also create damping. some very low frequency powered from line from example can achieve some 10% change in resonant frequency. only if u use linear inductor and such is rather hard to find for low freq. if u use iron cored inductors there frequency will be changed but not due cap variation but due to extreme nonlinear inductance changes in function of volt-seconds introduced to inductor every period wich u change by resistance conected
