P - channel mosfet ( Metal on Silicon Field effect transistor ) as compared to a PNP bipolar transistor and N - channel as compared to a NPN bipolar transistor, Up/ Down counter, 10 volt zener diode, conducts when voltage reaches 10 volts compared to ground. 555 timer is a versatile ic and can bbe used for a number of different applications, concerning timing and frequency generation. I f you are new to electronics i suggest you look these devices up on the web!!! 😊😊

The one remaining component is the digital counter. It counts up and down depending on the input you are using. They can be cascaded with the carry and borrow terminals and output their states as a binary numbers at the right side. The state is also settable from the outside with the left side terminals.
