It's set for 50Mhz but can easily be adjusted to work up to 1Ghz. I tapped directly to the tank circuit because that's where the signal is clear, ran it through a buffer stage to prevent any disturbing of the oscillator. The regulator is a necessity because the oscillator is very sensitive to voltage variation and may shift frequency if not attended.
