here the same problem as in your darlington version. You must learn how to use a proper high side driver. 5V gate minus 0.7V transistor is 4.3V max at emitter while the collector is connected to 20V so 15.7V are wasted multiplied by the current will even heatup your transistor and might destray it. Learn how an emitter follower or common collector or impedance converter works before you start with a bridge.
