Full wave rectifier using diode bridge

You can call this a full wave bridge rectifier as it eliminates the need for a CT transformer by using a diode bridge
This is a basic circuit and the reason I uploaded it is because most of the people are connecting the ground to the AC source . YOU HAVE TO CONNECT THE GROUND TO DC PART because the OP is DC Only in reference to the diode bridge . An added inductor eliminates ripples along with the cap . Add a pi filter to reduce ripples at higher load currents

A center tapped transformer  is shown next to the rectifier with LEDS explaining the working
