Issues with inverters in this simulator are just flaws in the simulator right

Hi @toddrowley. It doesn't seem like simulaton problem. If you're going to breadboard it, don't forget to protect your circuit from inductive voltage surge by diodes. Not sure if this one will work in real life, but you can try it: http://everycircuit.com/circuit/4756459978752000
