The 555 circuit is not too bad, the frequency is a bit too low for a lazer gun. The power supply is a virtual capacitor in itself, putting a capacitor across it only causes the circuit to crash. When the led is connected to the positive rail, capacitor across the output resistor causes the circuit to crash also. The npn transistor is hooked up back to front. For the life of me, I can't work out what the potentiometer and the two transistors are supposed to be doing to the circuit. Over all I think this circuit would benefit from a bit more work.

This is a circuit just to have a good time, for this purpose I don't think we should have more work, btw thanks for the suggestion, should I say that I've already tested this in a board and it works just fine, regards (:
