Smallest Square Wave Oscillator

This beats the classic astable multivibrator by one component (excluding the capacitor at ground since it’s just to make it startup quicker). The square wave is also a bit more square.

Man I hate using inductors though, they never work for me. Probabaly cause I have to make them by hand, and their not large enough, I don't know.

It can do 1MHz. Just change the inductor to 4.7uH and the capacitors to 10nF and the 10kOhm resistor to 1kOhm and the sine-wave source to the side to 9MHz.

That’s pretty cool. I like how you can adjust the duty cycle with the 680 ohm resistor.

Yeah. I had to figure out whether 820ohms or 680ohms gave a duty cycle closer to 50%. I ended up picking 680.
