The 3v voltage source and the 10k and 20k Ohms resistors, represent the estimulus signal, and the 100k resistor and the current controled voltage source, represent the cathode introduced inside the body. Years back when I read about that method they found weaker mending than with slow healing process.

Maybe the full recovery is the same, except that the initial healing process is faster.
