After the ttl version, i made this working CMOS version of the popular 555 ic.
Blue signal: higher treshold
Red signal: lower treshold
Green signal: output signal
Orange signal: capacitor charge and discharge

Niki, try to avoid all resistors. They are not welcome in CMOS integrated circuit designs, cuz they are big. Use instead just mosfets as resistor (drain and gate short).

Here an example http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6273294686224384 replaced 555 resistors and comperator 100k once. Keep it up! 😉

I was thinking about that when i saw the internal board of the 555 chip. Thank you hurz for the advice!
