Induction SCR flasher

I just discovered that you can make a simple flasher using an inductor and a SCR(PNP, and NPN transistors). It flashes more higher frequency.

This is like a UJT, I think it has to do with the negative resistance of the lamp.

Bulbs within EC do not have a nonlinear or negative resistance. They are just simple constant resistors. Real bulbs do have a positive temperature coefficent, which means, they start with low resistance and if they heatup the resistance will increase.

Thankyou :-)I agree, heat causes higher resistance in the tungsten filiment, but LEDs are starting to becoming more commen, because they are more efficient.

I knew the opposite, the bigger the temperature the lower the resistance...

OK, hurz my mistake, I thought the developers actually modeled realistic incandescent bulbs . Thanks for clarifying.
