The FW rectifier produces twice the peaks compared to the HW. The HW has a higher peak but dips lower compared to the FW. Overall, the FW has a more efficient output. Purposely, kept the capacitor values low to better show the waveform ripple. HW wiring is much simpler using 1 diode vs 4 diodes. MSian 2015/08
