The two circuits at the top are on when power is applied and the bottom two are off when power is applied until manually started.
The two on the right have "memory" in the form capacitor which can only be set to the default state when power is off (i.e. the top right can set to on without power but not off).
The two on the left are self reseting and will always revert to their default state when power is applied.
