Old time landscape cameras with lever shutter release or other lever mechanism you wish to trigger from a distance may find this helpful.
From 1.5 volt battery we have trigger switch to .5 amp fuse (vertical switch) holding lever in up position, pulling lever down is coil spring ( shown as two 1 nH coils). Two small bolts one holding top of fuse and one at bottom anchoring stretched spring and mounting board is not shown.
About 20 foot range with one battery and .5 amp fuse. Heavier fuse or longer range of wire add battery enough to blow the fuse and let spring trip the lever.
