I challenge you to find a pmos with 100nohm of Rdson. Spoiler, you won't

But this is contrary to the purpose of a simulation. A simulation should resemble at best the real components, otherwise it is meaningless and up to a point completely useless. It's like to obtain 5 from 2+2, 5 is how the circuit actually perform, 2+2 how the simulation perform, as you can see it's a meaningless result because 2+2 != 5. And if you try in the simulation first you will get a result which is in excess that what you will obtain due to the different charatteristics of the components between simulation and real world

@WTFCircuit... I am inclined to agree with you, but many here keep using default mosfets as though they were valid, so I am using a different approach with mosfets in an effort to get users to make a few easy setting changes which give max throughput...Once they see that their LEDs can be brighter etc they may feel encouraged to play around with more interest and so adjust them better....it's just a hopefully helpful ploy......Not many are likely to go straight from default to Rds understanding. It's a gentle stages approach instead of a difficult giant step approach...Different approaches will appeal to different people, but we can use either in the effort to achieve good results. My max easy settings tend to give good results for the nmos in many situations....a lot better to use as standard rather than the default EC settings....as can be seen from the article examples....Let's face it... a VTO of 3V is a lot more generally realistic than the default 430mV and the default Transconductance is way under par
