Change the voltage source above 3v. The LED is regulated around 30mA and no higher than 30v. It's fully protected.

Sure enough- anything more than 30 Volts and fwip-- the light cuts out! Very nice work Voltran..

The is great. And with nothing more than a few BJTs and resistors. I'd love to see an explenation on how it works.

how can i change the current?. is a precision Resistance needed on the emmiter pin ?
