Here is a circuit where we need capacitor .without capacitor circuit will not produce fine DC

In parallel with the light. You need to up the voltage of the power source to say 5 volts. Then dial down the capacitance some, otherwise it won't light the lamp as all the current will go to charging the capacitor.
