This network with two inputs and one two-wire output excites independently even and odd current modes in the two output wires. Note the relative phases of the hi-frequency and low-frequency components at the two output wires. Note also that the inputs are fully decoupled (for that, reduce the amplitude of any of the sources to 0 V and observe the current through it). In practice, this circuit should be realized with transmission-line transformers which have a wide frequency bandwidth.
