Op-Amp model

An attempt at an implementation of a small signal ideal Op-Amp model. It’s made of a Voltage-Controlled Voltage Source, and output resistance of 20 ohm and a pair of zener diodes that are there to simulate the clipping that occurs when the closed-loop gain drives the output voltage above the rail supply voltage. In this case, they are set to simulate a +10/-10 rail voltage. The Op-Amp model is close-looped in a gain 1 inverted configuration, with the negative input being supplied by a triangular signal. If gain or input voltage are increased, clipping can be observed. The zener internal resistance had to be set to the minimum for the clipping to be more realistic (or the output resistance increased to over 1k).
