Two different types of two way light switches. The top one, is the correct way to wire it. When the light is off, there won't be any voltage on either side of the light. The bottom one, is used to save wiring. But this one is dangerous. When both switches are switched to the phase wire, the light won't burn, but there's a dangerous voltage on both sides of the light. This can harm you when you change out the light.
