Hello fellers.
       I hope this will work just fine but the higher out put voltage, the more ripple will occur. The orther problem is load dependent because of no feedback from the output. If you do not care for that too much, you can just adjust the potentiometer to get your desire voltage.

first, a bridge rectifier is waste of material. Two diodes a redundant, check this http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5217778257362944
