I wanted 2Pole 2way switch instead of spdt. But if you try this on breadboard it might work. We can test a transistor by this circuit. Using different colour Leds for NPN and PNP.

@lenzrulz Thanks. Your circuit is simpler than mine. I was thinking why not combine them and make it one circuit.
