Using a JK flip-flop and a few components, it’s possible to demonstrate how to operate a DC motor forward or in reverse. The DC motor momentarily speeds up when changing direction and then settles down to a respectable RPM range as per the voltage and other predetermined settings. Press the push button to change the direction of the DC motor. I’ve used a 2uF capacitor to assist in a smooth directional transition of the DC motor.
