Constant current driver for LEDS. 

Using cree 3W 700mA 3.2fV

Power over the npn inline with the LED's would be P=voltagedrop * led load. 

I belive in this circuit it would be something 1.47W over that npn.... talk about smoke. 

Looking FOR  way to drive 50 3w LED's .... this would surely overheat
