Change the voltage 10v to 1KV(left SPDT switch), it's around 200mA. Change the resistance 1-OHM to 15-OHMs, it's around 200mA. It's accuracy is off .001A every 900V.

Are you measuring its real world performance? If you're taking the results from EC they are most certainly incorrect, even the best simulator with quality device models can't match a real circuit perfectly.

It's really close, it's not perfect. EC amperage source is always the same value no matter what.

At 1KV imagine the heat dissipation of the 3.7ohm resistor and the power transistor. Personally I haven't heard of a 200W resistor.

It's not the resistor you'd need to worry about. It's the PNP after it. However, I don't mean to speak for Voltransistor - and I could be wrong - but I imagine the 1kV is there moreso to prove the point of accuracy even over large differences in voltage input, rather than as a practical example.
