3kHz NOR? Just use a CMOS 40xx one which is much faster and lower in power as well.

Thankyou, Sine_eyed. :-) Thankyou for that advice, hurz. I'm just not used to working faster than 3kHz, and I'm used to TTL, not much with CMOS. I need to get more into CMOS circuits. I didn't know it's that fast. Lol.
