Add a bypass cap in parallel with RE.

Its not neccesery and actually it will add distortions. I think its put there mostly for temperature compensation and to decreasy the amplification.

Dear thedugger the cap would increase the gain for AC. The resistor is for temp compensation. Think about your comment
