Hi can somebody help please. Will this work if we replace the LED with a dc motor, i have different types of motors and ill use a regular small dc motor not the ones on the phones, more like the ones on rc cars wheels. Just wanted to know of this would slow it down, since im making a tatoo machine. I was planning to make this a foot pedal.. Thanks

Yep a simple Potentiometer will slow your Motor down.

In simulation I should say yes but because I'm sure ur using 10R< potentiometer I finally won't work. Use pwm and if u don't know what is it found it on Internet.

I know pulse width mod, but havent tried to use that approach. Anyways i just made mistake soldering the 220 ohms resistor on the ground of the led on the actual circuit. The actual project i did was a fail cuz i sorta made a voltage divider . Anyways i just need to re wire a few and i think it will work, cuz so far i used 9v and the motor is working altho its very slow. . Just didnt want to fry my pot incase.. I used B10K btw
