Why is V at base 1.44 and not 1.713. Solved by giomix.

Why is voltage divider here 1.44 and not 1.713? At 9V the resistances 200kO and 47kO the calculated V as per equation gives 1.73. But the resistor at the emitter is in parallel to voltage divider causing the difference. 47 kO in parallel with 100kO are equivalent to 37 kO. Effect: the resistances in series are not 200kO and 47kO any longer.

Detach transistor base from the circuit if you want 1.71. Otherwise 47kO is in parallel to base-emitter junction and 1kO and drain 7uA , 30 flows through 47kO, 37 through 200kO
