Hi, today we learn to made a voltage limiter with a zener diode. The total voltage it's a 12 VCC with a zener diode we limite the voltage in to 5vcc.

How much current can the zener stablised voltage can supply to a load.!

Remains within 10% of +5V up to 15mA load. Possible problem: the simulated Zener diode has a lower conducting resistance than typical real Zener diodes.

@eekee yes but this is a example

If you are below zener voltage at 10% of you get 20.5mA has nothing todo with zener characteristics http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6582739959808000 4.5V/220 Ohm = 20.5mA
