Can anyone give me a hint at why there is an option for dc voltage on an ac supply? Is it just a left over feature from before the separate dc supply widget was added?

Sometimes, you want to make it all positive. Or negative. Or around some DC voltage. I have a function generator. It dont have this option. A pain in the .... always need to do some extra circuit to offset it.
