- Observe current readings on branch loads (RL elements) for a specific single frequency by closing the respective switch. Take note of the values (do for 60, 300, 420Hz). Closing the switch of the source with 3x supplies with different frequencies in series will simulate 60Hz system with 5th and 7th harmonic content. The current reading of the branch loads will be the combination of the RMS current of the individual supply (using the formula of RMS=sqrt(V1^2+V5^2+V7^2).
- Closing the switch for the passive filter (RC elemnts) tuned to 420HZ and 300Hz will improve the voltage waveform at the load bus, and in turn, the current on each load branches. (Note: allow some time for the wavefrosm to smoothen)
