I'm trying to eliminate ripple and make a 200v tube amp cathode power supply to run a trio of 12au7 tubes in a 15 watt stereo tube amplifier. Fancy. 120rms in, 200rms out The current draw seems to be about 70mA

Don't forget your 120V mains is 120V RMS. That's 120*√2 or about 170V peak (amplitude setting in the simulator). Some beefier reservoir caps would help as well.

I'm starting to understand that there is also voltage loss to consider here, from the power supply itself and the load from the tubes.
