If u use full wave rectifier in home then resistance must be attached with low volt component.

As you can see, most of the circuit current is coming from the battery. Get rid of the battery and raise the AC voltage to 6 Volts. Don't forget the capacitor. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5897477479989248
